Leeds Weekend! ♧

♔ I haven't posted for a while and needed some inspiration for a new post; I recently went to Leeds for a girly weekend with my partner in crime (Beth ~ follow her on Instagram) so thought it was a perfect opportunity to get a blog post done! So here is my 'Leeds Weekend' post, consisting of my trio of outfits worn over the weekend and places we visited to eat and drink :) Hope you enjoy and decide to take a trip to Leeds yourselves...I highly recommend it for a great night out, amazing food and a good little shopping spree ✌

Day 1 Outfit:

Blouse - Asos - (no longer available but similar here)

Crop Top - River Island - here

Jeans - Zara - (cannot find the exact ones on the Zara website but they have very similar fitting ones here)

Shoes - Nike - here

Day 1 Lunch:

[Fishcakes and Sweet Potato Fries]

[Vanilla milk tea with passion fruit pearls & raspberry fruit tea with passionfruit pearls]

- For lunch we went into The Trinity Kitchen that sells all kinds of street food. We decided to grab something from Chip + Fish which is great if you are a fish lover; they have all kinds of fish options from fishcakes to calamari as well as fun sides like courgette fries and The Boston Frickle. I highly recommend Chip + Fish for a quick lunch!

Beth loves Bubbleology so of course we had grab one of those too :)

Day 1 Outfit (night):

Bodysuit - Zara - (it is so unfortunate that this is now out of stock because it is so gorgeous but you can find similar ones here, here and here)

Trousers - Topshop - here

Heels - (I wish I could say that these beauts are still in stock :( I get so many complements when I wear these nude lace-ups; to say they were only £11 in the Newlook sale!! I've tried my best to find ones as similar as I can here)

Day 1 Meal (night):

[Drinks ~ Rose' Sangria & Blackberry and Rosemary Fizz]

[Caesar Salad]

[Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough aka. the best dessert I have ever tasted!!!]

[Rocky Road Kebab]

[The toilets were so cool so I had to be sad and take a photo! ha!]

- We could not think of anywhere better in Leeds to eat other than The Botanist ❀ as we had heard so much about it! Everyone talks about it being 'nice' and they were wrong because it is more than just nice... its is so amazing!! Everything we ate that night was so incredible (good portion sizes, amazing flavours and quick service). I would eat there every week if I could; it is the top restaurant to eat at (in my opinion) when you are in Leeds.

Day 1 Drinks (night):

[Ball Breaker {Bb} cocktail]

[Ball Breaker {Bb} & French Martini {Fm} on the balcony :) ]

[Short Skirt cocktail & Pina Colada]

- I have been wanting to go to The Alchemist ◮ for so long!! Everything about it is so for me; from the geometric logo and period table menu to the exciting multitude of cocktails! So that was our first stop of the night for drinks and it really did live up to my expectations! I could have sat up on the balcony all night, looking over Leeds, trying all of the different cocktails on the menu! :) It is definitely the No.1 place I would recommend visiting when you are in Leeds.

We wanted to stop off somewhere else before we headed back to the hotel so we tried the 360。Champagne and Cocktail Bar in The Trinity Kitchen. It was so relaxed and the bonus is that we got served straight away as it wasn't crammed with people; It was a nice way to round off the night away from the hustle and bustle of the main clubs and restaurants.

Day 2 Outfit:

Shirt Dress - H&M - here

Vest - Urban Outfitters - available here in red and here in yellow (I purchased my white one in-store so they could still be on sale in some stores; just not on the internet)

Jeans - Zara - (as before on 'Day 1 Outfit')

Shoes - Zara - (I wear these shoes all of the time and wish the exact ones were sill available because they are so easy to wear with so many outfits. I have searched all over the internet to try and find similar ones; these ones here and here are the best ones I could find)

Coat - Topshop - (unfortunately no longer available online but you can sometimes find the odd one or two in some stores across the UK. Similar ones can be found on Asos here, here and here)

Day 2 Breakfast:

- I cannot think of anywhere better to go for breakfast than Bagel Nash! If there is one in the city you are in the it is a must. I was in the mood for something nice and greasy so I went for a wholemeal bagel with butter, scrambled egg, sausage and ketchup and Oh My God! It was so good; it was demolished in about two minutes ha! Beth put me to shame with her smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel!

Bagel Nash is such good place to stop off for breakfast or light lunch. I will definitely be visiting there again to try their enticing caesar salad bagel...mmm!

Day 1 & 2 Shopping Spree:

Lacey Bralet - Victoria's Secret - here

Vest Top - Urban Outfitters - (as before on 'Day 2 Outfit')

Necklace - Zara - (I cannot find this necklace online but it may still be available in some stores; if not, there is another beautiful statement necklace from Zara here)

Sports Tops - Zara - (may still be in-store but not online; Zara always have some sports clothes in-store; I recommend them as they are good quality and made from breathable materials)

Trousers - Topshop - here (I am absolutely in love with these trousers; they are my favourite item I have in my wardrobe at the minute. They are so comfortable, are tailored amazingly and the colours and piano style pattern make them so stylish. I love a good pair of statement trousers!)

Bikini - H&M - (cannot find online and only available in a few stores across the UK; I looked all over for it before I luckily found my size in the Leeds store)

Hotel:

- This was my first time staying over at Leeds but even after just one night at The Met hotel, I highly recommend it and I will be staying there again during my future trips to Leeds. The staff were so friendly, the whole hotel is impeccably clean and the stay won't cost you a fortune (bonus!).

Out and About Photos:

So if you are wanting a little weekend break whether it be with your friends or you partner, I would say go to Leeds. It has everything you would need for the perfect weekend away without being overly expensive. Also, the thing I love about Leeds is that everything is near each other so you do not have to mess around paying out and waiting around for taxis all weekend.

Hopefully my post has inspired you to take your own trip to Leeds, if so, enjoy and thank you for reading my post :) ♡ xoxo
